FAQ

What is a donor-advised fund, and is it right for me?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account. You contribute cash or other assets, may be eligible for a tax deduction in the year you contribute, and then recommend grants to charities over time. A DAF can suit people who want to simplify giving, give in a high-income year, or involve family in grant decisions. We help you decide whether it fits alongside your other giving options.
