Welcome Angela Kennedy!

We’re excited to announce that Angela has joined Acumen as our new Client Experience Coordinator!

In this role, Angela will provide high level administrative and strategic support to our team, helping ensure smooth operations across client service, compliance, internal communication, and firmwide initiatives. As a trusted organizational partner and gatekeeper, she will anticipate needs, manage workflows, and enable our team to stay focused on high value activities in our fast paced environment.

Angela brings extensive experience as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders and large teams. Most recently, she served as Office Manager and Executive Assistant at Compass Group Equity Partners, where she managed complex calendars, coordinated travel and events, maintained vendor relationships and contracts, supported onboarding, and oversaw facilities and IT requests for a team of 25. She was recognized by her peers with the 2024 Impact Award for consistently going above and beyond.

Angela has also supported executive leadership in both the public and legal sectors, including roles as Assistant to the Hamilton County Mayor and as a Legal Assistant at Baker Donelson. Across her career, she has demonstrated discretion, strong follow through, exceptional organization, and the ability to manage sensitive information with the utmost professionalism: qualities that align perfectly with the Client Experience Coordinator role at Acumen.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a commissioned Notary Public.
