“Small Business of the Year” by the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce – Acumen was recognized as the Small Business of the Year for 2020 for businesses between 1-20 employees in 2020. Small Business Award finalists and recipients were selected by an independent volunteer committee of local business leaders convened by the Chamber.
Gator 100 2019 Honoree – Acumen was named to the University of Florida’s Gator100 and was ranked #59 out of 100 with a CAGR of 37.95 percent. The Gator100 recognizes the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or led by UF alumni. Ernst & Young calculated each company’s compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past three years to generate the ranking.

To qualify for the Gator100, companies must have been in business for five years or more and have had verifiable annual revenues of $250,000 or more every year.
Chatter Magazine’s 20 Under 40 – Acumen’s Katie Sanchez was recognized in this year’s Times Free Press Chatter Magazine’s 2021 20 Under 40 as a young local influencer for her accomplishments.
