What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received and why?
The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is, “Don’t sweat the small stuff!” Throughout the day, we encounter so many stressors — whether it’s a news story, politics, traffic, or waiting in line. The list goes on. But when you take a step back and look at the bigger picture, most of those things really don’t matter in the grand scheme of life. At the end of the day, what’s most important to me is the well-being of my family and friends. Keeping that perspective helps me stay focused on what truly matters and reminds me not to “sweat the small stuff.”
What do you enjoy about working at Acumen?
One of the things I enjoy most about working at Acumen is the opportunity to make meaningful connections — not just with our clients, but with my colleagues as well. I also appreciate the chance to continue learning in my field. Whether it’s through attending conferences, taking continuing education classes, or learning from my co-workers on a day-to-day basis, there’s always an opportunity to expand my knowledge and improve.
What motivates you?
I’m motivated by the drive to keep improving in all aspects of my life — both personally and professionally.
