What motivates you?
I’m highly motivated by a sense of purpose and calling, as well as the inspiration and encouragement of family and friends. At work, I’m energized by innovation and the opportunity to equip others with the tools, resources, and technologies they need to better support clients and strengthen the team as a whole.
What do you enjoy about working at Acumen?
My favorite thing about Acumen is that everything we do is focused on the best interests of clients and delivering a truly superior experience. In a world where many claim excellence, I believe we set ourselves apart by actually delivering on that promise.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Any hobbies or interests that might surprise your colleagues?
Our family loves playing games, listening to music, and watching movies—lately, we’ve been binging on History Channel documentaries about U.S. history, particularly the key figures behind the foundations of our banking system and industrial development. I also enjoy keeping my eye on the local real estate market and interior design trends.
What skills or experience have you gained in recent years?
Prior to coming to Acumen, I worked in the banking industry for over 24 years in a variety of roles, most recently merging my operations experience with risk oversight and regulatory compliance. In March 2024 I completed the requirements to become a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer (CCBCO). These insights and experiences have translated well into my new role here at Acumen and I look forward to future professional development as part of this team.
