Katie Volunteers to Support Breast Cancer Awareness
We are so proud of Katie volunteering her time and talents again this year to support the CHI Memorial Foundation and the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center! Katie was a co-chair for Color Chattanooga Pink week. Color Chattanooga Pink week is a time for our community to come together and educate people about the importance of taking care our ourselves and celebrating those experiencing breast cancer, our survivors and those who are no longer fighting the battle. CHI Memorial offers breast screening through four locations throughout the greater Chattanooga community and two mobile mammography buses. The lack of insurance should not prevent individuals from seeking care. There are wonderful partners and grants to care for all. The goal is to inform the community of the many resources available.
