Julie is an accomplished financial services professional with over 25 years of client service experience. She is responsible for developing and strengthening relationships and focusing on enhancing the client experience. She serves as the personal point of contact for clients and assists with their various needs, processes client requests, researches and analyzes financial information, and delivers reports and presentations for client meetings. Julie also collaborates with Acumen’s Executive Team to coordinate resources of the firm for the benefit of the client. Julie emphasizes timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy while always being committed to the fiduciary standard.

Julie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Memphis with a minor in Marketing. For the last 25 plus years, she has worked in the business sector including prior financial services experience at Prudential and Morgan Stanley as a Senior Registered Sales Assistant. Julie also worked for NorthShore Financial Strategies for five years as a Senior Registered Sales Assistant, Registered Operations Manager, and Manager of Client Relations. She was responsible for servicing all aspects of clients’ accounts along with proactive client outreach. Julie holds the FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative Exam), FINRA Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam), and FINRA Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law Exam) licenses.
Julie and her husband Scott have lived in the Chattanooga area for the last five years and have recently become “empty nesters.” Their son, Spencer, graduated Signal Mountain High School and is currently studying Architecture at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. Scott and Julie enjoy exploring the outdoor experiences Chattanooga has to offer, attending UTC Mocs basketball games, and discovering many of the new local restaurants in the area. Julie also enjoys music and getting lost in a well written book.
