Welcome Reed Walters!
We’re thrilled to welcome Reed D. Walters, CIMA®, MBA to Acumen Wealth Advisors as Senior Portfolio Manager and Investment Strategist!
Reed brings over 30 years of investment experience encompassing institutional investment consulting, wealth management, portfolio management, and alternative investments. Reed oversees all aspects of the firm’s investment decisions and guides our strategy through due diligence, research, evaluation, strategic and tactical asset allocation, and aligning investment selections with each client’s goals.
Prior to joining Acumen, Reed held senior leadership roles at large investment firms including Merrill Lynch, Nuveen, and a billion-dollar asset manager, where he oversaw equity strategies and global portfolios. He also advised on more than $20 billion in assets at a mid-sized pension and foundation consulting firm.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Reed is committed to giving back, often combining his love of sports with many charitable causes and coached 15 years of boys’ and girls’ lacrosse.
